Impulse Archive aims to slow impulsive purchasing moments in pop-up retail and encourage responsible consumption among Singaporean young adults.
The project stemmed from the ever-growing culture of pop-up retail and impulse buying among Singaporean young adults, and how consumers are unaware of the ephemeral retail environment's ability to shape their decision-making. While the purchasing moment is almost as fleeting as its environment, the materials purchased and possessed will live on for years. Something overlooked is also how the onus is on consumers to push sustainable agenda through their choices.
